Our heavily cold-worked A270 Tubing is produced with a minimum 35% reduction in wall thickness, in line with the ASTM specification. Depending on the client's requirement, we supply ASTM A270 Pipe and Tube in the heat-treated (annealed and pickled) condition as standard, or as otherwise requested.
Every ASTM A270 Stainless Steel Pipe and Tube leaving our facility undergoes destructive and non-destructive testing — including flattening test, hydrostatic test, flaring test, and more — before dispatch. ASME SA270 Tube is available in mill finish and mechanically polished surface finish, polished on the inside surface, outside surface, or both, to suit sanitary, dairy, food, beverage, and pharmaceutical process requirements. As a supplementary requirement, we also supply pharmaceutical (ASME BPE) finish tubing up to 12 inches in size, with the surface finish fully customizable to the client's end application — including 32Ra ID / ASME BPE finish ASTM A270 TP304 Sanitary Stainless Steel Tubing.
