The higher carbon content of 0.04–0.10% enables dual certification in this grade. The Stainless Steel 347H Pipe is stabilized to provide good protection against corrosion, along with good oxidation resistance similar to other austenitic steels. The 347H Stainless Steel Tube we manufacture is used in heavy welded materials where annealing is not possible, and works reliably at temperatures up to 1600°F.
