Stainless Steel Square Tube — Grade Guidance
As a specialist Square Pipe manufacturer, we recommend 316 grade for aqueous conditions and chloride-ion-rich environments, since 304 grade Stainless Steel Hollow Pipe does not offer sufficient corrosion resistance in these conditions. Stainless Steel Hollow Section is a hollow bar with a central bore running through its length. Stainless Steel Welded Square Pipe supplied by us is used for pressure operations such as processing liquids and gases, chemical handling, marine applications, food processing, petrochemicals, and water treatment. Polished Stainless Steel Square Tubing is finished to a brushed 180-grit surface, while Stainless Box Section is supplied in a dull satin finish, typically in 304 grade.
