Nishra Oversaeas LLP is a well-known manufacturer of Orifice Flanges. Orifice flanges, such as ASME B16.36 flanges, are used to measure the flow of fluid maintained on the flange after it has passed through a pipeline via a flow nozzle. You may get ASME B16.36 orifice flanges from Classes #300 to #2500. Types of Orifice Class #300 flanges include threaded, slip-on, and weld neck end. Only weld neck type end orifices Class #600 and flanges above that Class are available. There are several grades and sizes of ASME B16.36 orifice flanges available. ASME B16.36 orifice flanges are available in standard and special materials including A182 F316 Stainless Steel, A182 F22 2% Cr 1% Mo, A105 Carbon Steel, A182 F304 Stainless Steel, A350 LF2 Low Temp Carbon Steel, and A182 F11 1% Cr ½% Mo.
Orifice flanges are useful in many machines because they provide correct bolt lengths. The force and pressure of the pipe's moving contents can be measured using orifice flanges. The many perforations on orifice flanges are useful when connecting to the pipe or its output. Orifice flanges have a high strength of yield and are incredibly durable. They have a unique ability to survive and thrive amid an environment of atrocities. Orifice flanges are heavy-weighted because they are packed with heavy metals. They are incredibly strong and durable due to the metal content. Their longevity and mechanical strength are characterized by the structure of their formation.
The length of the hub, the diameter of the bolt circle and bolt hole, the straightness and alignment of the bolt hole, the thickness of the weld end, the outer and inner diameter of the body, and the dimensions of the tap holes are all important considerations when inspecting ASME B16.36 orifice flanges. Orifice flanges are basically the same as slip on flanges or weld neck flanges, the differences being that stainless steel orifice flanges of ASME B16.36 have extra machining and another difference is that in the flange ring, orifice flanges have radial, tapped holes. This serves as the purpose of meter connections and so that additional bolts can serve as jack screws to allow for the separation of flanges, at the time of replacement or inspection of the orifice plate.

Orifice flanges are used with orifice meters to measure the flow rate of liquids or gases in a pipeline. Pressure "Tappings" and "Jack Screws" are machined into the orifice flange, generally on two sides, exactly opposite each other. This eliminates the need for separate orifice carriers and pipe wall tappings.
Orifice flanges are typically available with either raised faces or RTJ (Ring Type Joint) facings. They are virtually identical to weld neck and slide on flanges with additional machining.
The image below depicts a set of orifice flanges with an orifice plate and a jack screw installed.
Orifice plates are utilized as restriction devices in flow control applications to regulate fluid flow or lower the pressure downstream of the orifice plate.
Typically, two jack screws are attached to separate the flanges, allowing the orifice plate to be inspected and/or changed. Each flange should have one jack screw, which should be 180° apart when placed. Orifice flanges can be purchased with
The Orifice Flange assemblies include a pair of flanges, bolts, nuts, gaskets, jack screws, and plugs. The Jack Screws are used to install or remove the Orifice Plate. These meetings are known as Orifice Unions. To avoid turbulence at the orifice plate, the orifice flanges are set in a straight length of pipe, ten pipe diameters upstream and five diameters downstream. This is according to the American Gas Association.

Every Standards have clearly requirements for steel flanges’ marking style, usually the marking words include seller’s Logo, buyer’s Logo (OEM), standard number, flange’s type, flange’s pressure, flange’s size, flange’s material, place of origin, heat number and other words for convenient to trace. If the flanges repaired by welding, it must mark on flanges showing this flange repared by welding. If the flange’s dimensions (OD, ID, PCD, Thickness, Holes number, Holes diameter, Tolerance etc) are different with the normal standard, it also must mark on flanges where it is different with normal ones. Another important place is heat number marking, it is the tracing base for every piece flange, and from the heat number we can trace to the beginning of raw material import.
Carbon Steel Orifice Flanges and Stainless Steel Socket Weld Flanges are delivered with or without surface protection, as determined by the manufacturer.
The company delivers Orifice Flanges in standard packaging, without surface protection or end protectors (caps). Special packaging, protective covers, and end protectors (caps) can be agreed upon.
